Land Forces

UPDF Land Forces

The Land Forces is a branch of Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) Joint  Services. Land Forces play a crucial role in Uganda’s national security and defence. Their primary responsibility is to protect Uganda’s territorial integrity, maintain peace and stability within the country, and support international peacekeeping efforts when required. The Land Force are comprised of the Marine, Artillery, Infantry and Armoured Brigade.
