At the head of the ministry is the Permanent Secretary, who serves as both the Chief Executive and the Chief Accounting Officer. Additionally, as the Chief Accounting Officer, the Permanent Secretary is responsible for ensuring that the ministry’s financial affairs are managed appropriately and that the ministry remains financially solvent.
