Permanent Secretary

At the head of the ministry is the Permanent Secretary, who serves as both the Chief Executive and the Chief Accounting Officer. In this role, the Permanent Secretary is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the ministry’s organisation operations, including managing the departments and ensuring that the ministry operates efficiently and effectively. Additionally, as the Chief Accounting Officer, the Permanent Secretary is responsible for ensuring that the ministry’s financial affairs are managed appropriately and that the ministry remains financially solvent.
